Coaching - Retreats - Ceremony - Art

How  would I describe Kim?  She is intuitive, fun, thoughtful, a good  listener, friendly, a visionary, a leader, Kim has multiple passions  that interconnect to create a rich life full of deep connection to  people, nature, and creativity.

Kim sees her  purpose at this point in her life as cultivating connections:  with our true, unique self; with each other; with the earth; and with the unseen world.

Her muse includes non-profit and social sector leader and individual coaching.  She brings to her work attention to the inner life as the ground for authentic, courageous, and affirmative living; and a focus on building trustworthy relationships as core to creating and sustaining robust cultures.

Kim supports people in rediscovering their true, unique self and then supports them as they align with their purpose and passion and learn to live from a place of wholeness.  People in  transition of all kinds are especially drawn to her coaching work,  including career, college-career, staff, role, job, and life-cycle  transitions.

Kim has 25 years of experience as a coach and is ACC Certified with the International Coach Federation.

Her  coaching is informed by certification in conducting EQ in Action Profiles, practicing narrative coaching with Rewinding our Story, preparation and experience in the Circle of Trust  approach developed by Parker Palmer, Non-Violent Communication,  and the work of Brene Brown.   She incorporates creative modalities including awareness of natural systems and their metaphors in life, poetry, movement, music, art and ceremony as tools to clarify and set intentions.

Kim creates a safe, courageous, reflective space.

Kim is also an experienced workshop and retreat facilitator.  She was prepared  as a facilitator by the Center for Courage and Renewal. She has developed and led multi-retreat Courage and Renewal programs for  educators and social sector leaders, as well as freestanding reflective retreats exploring domains such as life transitions, living and leading authentically, and Who Do I Choose to Be retreats.

Kim spent 20  years as a nonprofit leader facilitating emerging nonprofit, and  community groups as they formed, developed and changed. As founder  and longtime Executive Director of Adopt-A-Watershed, Kim experienced  the challenges of being a nonprofit leader for more than two decades.  She co-founded Leading From Within and the  Courage to Lead program for nonprofit and social sector leaders to nurture other nonprofit and social sector leaders in their professional and personal  lives so that they can bring the gifts of leadership to whole-hearted  service for others and the world.

Kim is an experienced educator and has been facilitating workshops and retreats for educational leaders for 25 years.   She is an experienced Leading Together: Building Trust Among the Adult Community in Schools Facilitator.

Kim  is also an artist.  Although she came to this later in life, it has  become one of her great passions.  She leads workshops and retreats in  different art modalities, as well as retreats exploring art, spirit and  the creative process.
